Japan is REALLY opening its borders!

Finally! The news we were waiting for!

After almost 3 years of restrictions, Japan is opening its borders to tourists on October 11th.

And this time they are really opening it. No travel-agency involvement is required. No limit cap on how many people can come to the country.

What Do I Need To Travel Now?

Besides your basic travel needs, all that is necessary to enter Japan is:

  • Proof of 2 shots of any of the following vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Bharat Biotech, Novavax;

  • Proof of a booster shot of any of the following vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Novavax;

  • If you can’t show proof of vaccination, then a negative PCR test is enough.

Keep in mind that normal visa exceptions and needs still stand, so please check your own passport conditions as you normally would before the pandemic.

Enjoy Japan!
